Server ( Detailed Requirements )

IsoVision doesn't need you to buy a new server except if all your servers do not have enough capacity remaining (storage or processing).
If you need to buy a new server, the requirements suggested for IsoVision are:
  • Windows 2003/2008 (32 bits)
  • Processor 2 GHz
  • 1Go RAM
  • Disk space 350 MB
  • No other Sybase DBMS on the same server

Workstation ( Detailed Requirements )
  • Windows XP/VISTA (32 bits)
  • Processor 1.5 GHz
  • 512 Meg RAM
  • 16 bits Video Card
  • 150 Meg Space Disk
  • Internet Explorer 6.x / Firefox 3.x
    (optionnal for the WEB version only)

Network ( Detailed Requirements )
  • Windows or NOVELL Network
  • TCP/IP Protocol
  • LAN Network: 10 MB/sec or more
  • WAN Network: 128 KB/sec (with Ms-Terminal Server® or Citrix®)
Environment for testing and training ( Optional )

It is also possible to have a second environment for testing new versions and train users.

Note: A second test and training environment must be installed on a different Windows® server than the server used in everyday life (in production) by IsoVision.
